Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Wayfinder (the "Service"), an AI-assisted information monitoring platform. The Service is provided by Quantforge Software ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Wayfinder. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you enter into an agreement with Quantforge Software and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Wayfinder
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. You must provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. The Service
Wayfinder lets you define "waypoints" — topics you want monitored. On the schedule you configure, Wayfinder searches public web sources, uses large language models to summarise and score what it finds, and delivers updates to you by email, push notification, webhook or in the app. Usage is metered in AI Credits according to the plan you select.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the limits of your selected plan. You must not reverse engineer the Service, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent technical or quota limits.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate anyone else doing so;
- commit fraud, send spam, or engage in deceptive or abusive behaviour;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including malware, probing, penetration attempts, credential stuffing, or automated scraping outside documented APIs;
- generate or distribute illegal content, deepfakes intended to deceive, harassment or hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or instructions for weapons or malware;
- attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject or otherwise subvert the safety controls of the underlying AI models, or use outputs to train competing models where prohibited by the relevant model provider.
4. AI outputs and your responsibility
Wayfinder relies on large language models and third-party web sources. Outputs may be incomplete, out of date, or factually wrong, including summaries, importance scores and "nothing changed" results. Outputs are for general information only and are not financial, investment, legal, tax, immigration or other professional advice, and are not a recommendation to take any action. Verify anything material against the linked primary sources before relying on it.
You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for holding the rights to any content you supply, and for how you use the outputs. As between you and us, you retain rights in your inputs, and subject to your compliance with these terms and the rights of underlying source material, you may use the outputs generated for your account. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
5. Content moderation and takedowns
We may filter, restrict, remove or refuse to generate content, and may suspend accounts, to comply with law, protect the Service, or enforce these terms. If you believe material surfaced or generated by the Service infringes your rights, contact us with details and we will investigate and act where appropriate. Accounts responsible for repeated infringement will be terminated.
6. Intellectual property
Quantforge Software retains all right, title and interest in the Service, including its software, models, prompts, documentation, design and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
7. Plans, payments and billing
Paid plans and credit top-ups are sold on a subscription or one-off basis as described at checkout. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, together with our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period.
8. Service availability
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Scheduled runs may be delayed, deferred or skipped due to maintenance, third-party outages, rate limits or fair-use capacity management. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination your access ends; you may export your data before closing your account, and we will delete or anonymise remaining data in line with our Privacy Notice.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, business or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful or infringing use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes, assignment and general
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quantforge Software is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. For questions about these terms, contact Quantforge Software through the support channel in the app. For billing and refund enquiries, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
